Important Notes:

• Works Alongside BMS: An active balancer is not a replacement for a protection board (BMS). It handles cell voltage equalization, while a BMS handles overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuit protection. Use them together for maximum safety and performance.
• Wiring Order: Connect the sense wires carefully following your pack's exact series taps (0V, 3.7V, 7.4V, 11.1V for Li-ion or equivalent tap points) to prevent damaging the internal switching ICs.
• Initial Capacity Matching: While active balancers can correct drifting cell voltages over time, ensure your individual cells are reasonably matched in capacity and health before building the pack.
• Polarity Check: Double-check all terminal connections before applying power to avoid reverse-polarity short circuits.
