Important Notes:

• Corrosion Consideration: Because resistive water sensors pass a small electric current through water to measure conductivity, prolonged continuous submersion can accelerate galvanic electrolysis and trace wear over time. For long-term continuous immersion, periodically inspect the traces or switch to capacitive water sensors.
• Electronics Protection: The lower sensing traces are designed to get wet, but the upper electronic components (the LM393 chip, resistors, and header pins) must not be submerged in water to prevent short circuits and permanent board damage.
• Analog Reading Calibration: In dry air, the analog output voltage sits near 0V. As water level rises up the traces, the analog output increases proportionally, allowing you to map the ADC values to approximate water depth levels.
• Logic Compatibility: Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V matching your microcontroller logic, and GND to system ground.
