Important Notes:

• Probe Positioning: Only submerge the lower optical sensor probe part into the liquid. Keep the connector wire junction and the main signal conversion board completely dry to prevent short circuits.
• Optical Cleanliness: Ensure the optical transmissive lens faces are clean and free of algae, oil film, or mineral deposits before taking measurements, as surface residue can scatter light and cause false high-turbidity readings.
• Analog Voltage Mapping: In crystal clear water, the analog output voltage is typically at its highest (around 4.5V). As turbidity increases (more particles scattering light), the analog voltage drops. Account for this inverse relationship in your microcontroller code.
• Calibration: Because ambient light and water color can influence readings, calibrate your baseline values using fresh distilled water as a 0% turbidity reference point.
