Important Notes:

• Connect the SIM900A module's GND to the microcontroller's GND to ensure stable serial communication.
• Use a stable 5V power supply capable of handling the module's high current peaks during GSM transmission.
• The module requires a compatible 2G SIM card and an available GSM/GPRS network in your area.
• Always connect the supplied cellular antenna before powering on the module to ensure reliable network performance.
• Insert or remove the SIM card only when the module is powered off.
• Make sure the TX and RX connections are correctly crossed between the SIM900A and your microcontroller.
• Network-dependent features such as SMS, calls, and GPRS require an active SIM card and supported mobile operator service.
• Keep the antenna away from metal objects and electronic interference for better signal reception.
• Actual performance may vary depending on network coverage, signal strength, power supply, and antenna placement.
